Where does Russell Henley live?
At the University of Georgia in Athens, Russell Henley played golf for four years. He competed in the U.S. Open and tied for the low amateur score, winning the Haskins Award in 2010 as the best collegiate golfer (with Scott Langley). He also participated in two Nationwide Tour competitions in 2010: the Stadion Athens Classic at UGA and the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Invitational.
Only two amateurs have ever won on the Nationwide Tour, Daniel Summerhays in 2007 and Henley in 2011’s Stadion Classic at UGA. On the home course of the University of Georgia, the competition was held. At the Palmer Cup and Walker Cup tournaments that year, Henley represented the United States.

In March 2014, Henley captured his second PGA Tour victory at the Honda Classic in Florida. Henley recorded a two-over-par round of 72 on Sunday in challenging circumstances to advance to a four-man playoff alongside Ryan Palmer, Russell Knox, and Rory McIlroy.
Henley was the only one of the four players to reach the green in two at the par-five first playoff hole. Knox, McIlroy, and Palmer were unable to complete the hole-in-one, leaving Henley with a three-foot shot to seal the championship. With this victory, he qualified for the forthcoming Masters’s and rose to the top 50 in the world.
Henley won his third tour contest at the Texas Shell Houston Open in April 2017.
