Neil Patrick Harris Reveals His Hand Surgery Following Sea Urchin Infection
According to a report from Page Six, Neil Patrick Harris had to get surgery on his hand this past Tuesday when a sea urchin spine got bundled up in his hand during his visit to Croatia two months ago. Neil came down with a bad infection.
On his IG account, Harris explained that he “pierced through a tendon,” before going on to praise the doctors working on him, including Dr. Dan Polatsch and his team of medical professionals. The star joked he was “urchin free” and slowly getting better.
Reportedly, the 46-year-old actor was climbing cliffs when he fell directly on to a sea urchin, with his hand taking the brunt of the fall. Kate Jennings, who’s perhaps most famous for her roles in Broadway productions, joked that Harris should’ve gone to “Urchin Care.”
