Jim Mulyk Obituary, Death Cause – Jim Duellman’s passions were varied and reflected the depth and breadth of his personality. He was an ardent sports fan, particularly devoted to the Minnesota Vikings. He fervently hoped for the day when his beloved team would emerge victorious in the Super Bowl. Card games were another one of his interests, providing him with not only entertainment but also an opportunity to engage in lively conversations with new acquaintances.

Jim leaves behind a legacy that extends far beyond his own lifetime. He is survived by his loving children: Denise (Leonard) LaCara, Thomas Duellman, Lawrence (partner, Janice Baertsch) Duellman, Jay Duellman, and Merridith (Glenn) Joly. His legacy also includes his cherished grandchildren: Peter, Andrew, Laura, Hannah, Kate, Seth, Ellianna, and Gilbert. Jim was further blessed with three great-grandchildren, whose lives were brightened by his love and presence.

His memory is carried forward by his sisters, Janice (Benjamin) Maroushek and Marie Schueler, as well as his brothers, Jim, and Jon. Jim’s life was touched by the love and warmth of his parents, wife, son, and brother, all of whom had passed away before him. He was preceded in death by Lonnie Duellman, Robert Duellman, Evelyn Duellman, and Evelyn Duellman, who all held special places in his heart and life.

A Funeral Service in memory of Jim will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at 11 AM at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home. The service will be conducted by Deacon James Welch. Jim Duellman will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Winona, Minnesota, an occasion marked by full military honors provided by the American Legion Leon J. Wetzel Post 9 of Winona.

The community and those who knew and loved Jim are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at the Watkowski-Mulyk Funeral Home from 5 PM to 7 PM. During this time, a recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will take place at 6:45 PM, allowing friends and family to come together in prayer and reflection. Additionally, there will be a visitation on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, beginning at 10 AM and continuing up to the time of the service.

Jim Duellman’s journey through life was marked by dedication, service, and love for his family. He will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments and military service but also for the warmth, wisdom, and enduring love he shared with his loved ones. His legacy lives on in the hearts and minds of those who had the privilege of knowing him, and his memory remains a source of inspiration and solace.
