Disgraced NRL bad boy Todd Carney returns to social media a month after THAT bubbler photo
SINCE a crude photo emerged of Todd Carney attempting to urinate in his own mouth, the heavily inked rugby league footballer has stayed away from social media.
And who could blame him? That photo, combined with a string of past off-field indiscretions, has cost the 28-year-old his career with the Cronulla Sharks.
It also shone a light on the bizarre apparent trend of ‘bubbling’.
But less than three weeks after the scandal shocked the code, Carney has returned to photo-sharing social app Instagram.

Thankfully, the content isn’t the sort that would keep his mum up at night.
Instead, Carney last night posted a snap with former teammate Wade Graham at a Yogurberry store enjoying a serve of waffles.
There isn’t a sip of booze in sight and, thankfully, the pair aren’t anywhere near a men’s room urinal.
Moments after the image went live, dozens of Carney’s 37,000-strong Instagram followers shared their well-wishes.
“Still got faith in you,” fan Cam Gallagher said. “Get back in the game, whichever code. Just wanna see you back at your best.”
Carney’s last post was an inspirational quote about following one’s dreams, uploaded in the midst of the furore last month.
